Funding Availability for Non-Activated Cards

This update to our funding process was released in December 2023.

We understand that it can be important to have funds available for your cardholders the moment they activate their True Link Visa® Prepaid Card. To help make this possible, we now allow one-time transfers to initiate and become available to Cards that have not yet been activated as long as we've verified the cardholder's identity.

This update only affects Cards that have been requested by the account administrator and have not yet been activated. This includes both new True Link accounts and replacement Cards for existing True Link accounts. 

If a Card has been set inactive by either the cardholder or account administrator we will continue to pause funding as we have previously. If you have questions about setting a Card inactive, please review this article from our Help Center.
