Linking a True Link Visa® Prepaid Card as a Disbursement Option
We’re excited to see that you intend to use a True Link Visa® Prepaid Card as a disbursement option for your beneficiary!
If you have not yet ordered your beneficiary a True Link Visa Card but would like to do so, please visit the “Cards” tab in the top right corner of the Platform, and review the article included here.
True Link Visa Card orders need to begin processing fulfillment before they will be available to link to a trust account. Card orders are processed throughout each business day so if a card order was submitted and it is not available to link on the platform, we recommend reviewing the beneficiary's dashboard the following business day.
True Link Visa® Prepaid Card
Once a True Link Visa® Prepaid Card has been linked to a beneficiary you will have the option to schedule disbursements to their card account. This option is a great way to make funds available to a beneficiary in minutes. If you set the process date to “Upon approval”, funds will be made available right away. You can also schedule True Link transfers for the future.
The True Link Visa® Prepaid Card has a $5,000.00 per day deposit limit, so disbursements that exceed this limit will not be able to be approved on the platform. More information on the daily, and monthly, limits associated with the True Link Visa® Prepaid Card can be found in this article here.
How to Link a True Link Visa Prepaid Card as a Disbursement Option
On the “Trusts” tab of the Platform, navigate to your beneficiary’s Dashboard.
- Click the “True Link Card” tab.
If there isn't a True Link Card tab listed, the card can be linked on the "Overview" tab in the "True Link Card" section of that page. The following steps will remain the same.
- Click the drop-down and find the True Link Visa® Prepaid Card that you would like to link to the beneficiary’s account.
- Once you’ve selected the True Link Visa® Prepaid Card that you would like to link to your beneficiary’s account, click “Submit”, and the card will be linked!
- Your beneficiary’s True Link Visa® Prepaid Card will now be listed as a disbursement option on the “Disbursements” tab.
After this update is completed, you will also be able to view transaction history, adjust Spending Monitor and card alert settings, and generate card reports from the “True Link Card” tab of the beneficiary’s Dashboard.
