Requesting Check Copies
We’re always happy to help provide check copies as needed!
Before you submit your request, please check to confirm that the check disbursement status is showing as “Cleared” on the Platform. Our team can only provide check copies if the check has been cashed by the payee, which is after it has been deposited and cleared.
How to request a check copy from our team
Please email our Customer Support Team at trustsupport@truelinkfinancial.com and share with us the following information. If you do not have the following information, please share as much information as possible such as the payee's name, date, amount, etc, and we'll do our best to help track down that check for you:
- The beneficiary’s name
- The check number
Another option to help locate a check you need a copy of, you can always navigate to the "Reports" tab on a beneficiary's trust dashboard and download a "Disbursements" report and input a start date and end date to review a list of disbursements entered within that date range.
While we are generally able to provide copies the day that we receive your request, there may be some instances where we need to work with our bank partners to request a copy of the cleared check. If this is the case, we’ll be sure to let you know right away.
In instances where we have to work with our bank partner to collect the check copy, it can take up to 5 business days for our team to receive the check. We appreciate your patience while we work to complete your request!
