Beneficiary Overview for Standalone Trusts

Context

When you click on an individual trust in the True Link dashboard, you’ll see an updated view of that beneficiary. This page includes an overview of the beneficiary’s investment account, unique assets, and any linked True Link Visa® Prepaid Cards, with the ability to dive deeper for more information.

What’s new on this page?

The overview displays the following information: the investment account, the True Link Visa Cards, unique assets, and a snapshot of the beneficiary’s demographic and contact information.

You’ll be able to see this breakdown of the trust’s investment account:

  • Securities, which are current investment holdings (example: $475,000)
  • Available cash, which can be used to request a disbursement (example: $24,000)
  • In-progress disbursements, which are approved or processed, but the funds have not yet left the account (example: $1,000)
  • Total, which is the sum of the above numbers, and reflects the current value of the account (example: $500,000)

You can request a disbursement or ask for a cash raise directly from this page when viewing the current investment account values. 

From the investment account panel, select “View” to see more details:

  • Current market value and shares of each security
  • Investment activity such as dividends, interest, trading activity, and transfers to the account

Where can I see more details about approved and processed disbursements whose funds have not yet left the account?

This information is available in the Disbursements tab.


What should I do if the trust’s available cash is insufficient for a disbursement that needs to be made?

You can request additional cash directly from the Beneficiary Overview by selecting “Request Cash Raise” in the Investment Account section. Upon receiving this request, True Link’s investments team will then execute trades to provide the liquidity requested.

How long will it take to raise cash after I submit my request?

The Trust Support team will get back to you in 2-3 business days. In general, trades will settle 2-3 business days after being placed. In some cases, the entire process may take up to 7 business days.


How can I make a change or correction to the trust name displayed on the overview?
