Temporary Overrides

Administrators have two ways to access the Spending Settings to create temporary overrides to allow or block all transactions for a period of time. 

Temporary overrides 

Option 1 -  True Link Financial mobile app: Once you are logged in to the mobile app as an administrator, tap on “Spending Settings.” At the top of the next page, you will see buttons to either “Allow all Transactions” or “Block all Transactions”

Option 2 - Online dashboard: Through your administrator dashboard, go to the “Spending Settings” tab, and click the “Allow All Transactions" or "Block All Transactions" buttons.   

Allowing all transactions can be helpful if a cardholder is in an emergency situation and a transaction you would like to allow is being blocked due to a Spending Setting. 

A temporary override will supersede all other Spending Settings, including access to cash. When you are ready to revert to the previous Spending Settings, simply click the "Remove Override" button, and all original Spending Settings will be returned.
