Upcoming Card Expiration
True Link will notify you via email when it’s time to replace an expiring True Link Visa® Prepaid Card. If you receive an expiring Card email, please respond to the email directly to replace the Card free of charge.
In this article, you’ll learn how to replace an expiring Card as well as key facts about upcoming Card expirations.
Replace an expiring Card
- We will email you at the beginning of each month about any cards expiring that month.
- This email will include information on how to replace an expiring card, and will ask you to respond to this email to confirm:
- That you would like to replace the expiring card
- The shipping address for the replacement card
- There is no charge to replace an expiring card. Once we receive your email response, we will send a replacement to the address provided. You will receive an email confirmation once the Card order has been placed.
You can view Card expiration dates directly from your administrator dashboard in the “Card status” section of the “Account” tab for each cardholder.
Expiring cards can continue to be used until the expiration date or until the replacement Card is activated, whichever happens first. For example, if the expiration date is 7/31 and the replacement Card is activated on 7/25, the expiring Card will become inactive on 7/25 once the replacement Card is activated.
